One of my spring pass times is gardening, I'd get my nose into everything. Then Mom'd tease me about my garden nose, all covered in green moss dust. Maybe that is why I get banned from the back yard and corralled onto the patio.... Teaching Neka to steal plant marker sticks was another of my naughty little training secrets which Pieter caught me at with this photo. Hmmm, a guy has to have some fun eh!!! We can't be good all the time, mischief is what we Rottweilers are all about when we get bored! Pieter took some wonderful photos over the years Neka and I were together. She was my little beauty, while I was her tall dark handsome man. Together we were a great team who complemented each other well. This the sepia Rottweilers Ace & Neka. We are on Waita's phone case so we can be close wherever she goes, and Dad uses this as the desktop on his phone. Me and my girl, who I came to call Wee Wee, because she was small, yet mighty. Neka was never too far away on any day. This photo on the left is one of my favourite photos of us together. Neka watching over me when really it is the other way around. You may not have noticed that I'm always just a little in front of my girl watching over her at all times. This was how Auntie Karo trained me, to be sly about how I serve and protect my herd. Waita turned this photo into the family's 2012 Christmas Card. It was to be our last Christmas together, my Wee Neka was to loose her battle with lymph cancer February 9, 2013. Inside the Christmas Card I asked to please print this message:

Good friends are hard to find,
            Harder to leave,
          Impossible to forget.

I was widowed and once again the sole K-9 at the Rested Dog Inn.
