The Rested Dog Inn
Celebrates the life and our time
spent with our
Big Handsome Boy

Voldemar's Ace vom Baron
aka Ace

April 13, 2005 ~ January 12, 2015

"The Rested Dog Inn" regrets to inform you that our big handsome boy Ace went to sleep peacefully at "Steveston Veterinary Hospital" today when operated on to remove his spleen and a large mass. The operation revealed that he was full of tumors throughout his internal organs. The decision was made not to interrupt his peaceful sleep to bring him back to a life of pain and discomfort for a few short months. Now he is free of his duties at "The Rested Dog Inn". Ace, our Big Handsome one, will be singing "How much is that Doggie in the Window" with the others from "The Rested Dog Inn" as well as running free of pain. We hope his wee Neka and the others are awaiting his arrival tonight at the "Rainbow Bridge."

Our Ace came to us when he was eight months old, he quickly learned the house rules from Karo who was to leave him to look after those who lived at "The Rested Dog Inn" just a few short months after he arrived.

Shortly after Karo's passing, Ace was joined by the love of his life: Wee Neka. They spent six years together, he was widowed from her just two years ago by her passing. It was hard on him at first to be the only K-9, something so very new for him. He missed his Neka so very much. In time he took on his role as "THE Dog with a Job" seriously putting smiles on all faces of those he met, whether it be on his walks or those who visited the "Rested Dog Inn." His big heart had room for all, be it K-9 or cat or bird or human, a big gentle giant we heard many a folk say as he leaned on them, his way of saying welcome.

This afternoon Ace went on to join the others from "The Rested Dog Inn" Kezzy, Keats, Karo, Karl, Nero, Kaleb, and their two baby sisters and his best girl Neka at the *Rainbow Bridge.* Ace, leaves behind all those who love and loved him dearly. His passing will leave a huge empty place with us left at "The Rested Dog Inn." Guys, don't forget you are all to keep a place for Mom & Dad at the *Rainbow Bridge*.
