Comments : I was wondering if it is possible to have a pure bred Rottweiler with a white patch.I have a Rottweiler the breeder claimed was a pure bred well now she is about 10 weeks old and has a white patch she is the only one with the patch she is the runt of the litter as well so I was not sure if she is still considered a pure bred.She is not a show dog she is a family pet we have considered getting into showing but every website I have seen is saying she would be disqualified for the white patch everything else on her meets the requirements with the markings and everything accpet on her chest is a white patch.

Since 1996, I have enjoyed visiting your site and viewing your beautiful Kezzy Sioux. When I read of her passing, it felt like a friend had left too. Kezzy was invincible.

Comments : Dear Peter and Waita, I am heartfelt sorry to learn that Kezzie had to leave you. I lost my little Hollie on June 13th. My little Pappilon Harley helped me overcome my sorrow. I hope something will soon be found to bring you some comfort.
Love, Ray

Comments : Peter,
I am so sorry about your loss. I also lost a trusted friend on the 12th. My dog was 13 years and although, not a Rottie, he thought he was! He was a Whippet) I am sending you a poem that my vet sent to me... it is awesome.
Also your website is very good. I learned something about the history of the Rottweiler and I have had the breed for over 25 years. (I also am an AKC judge of several breeds.) I did not have time to surf your entire site, however, I have bookmarked it for later exploring.
I cried and cried yesterday as I was typing this poem to enter it... guess it was carthartic. Really sorry for you loss. IT IS NEVER EASY.

FOR ERDELIED TEEKO BUNN

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep;
Then you must do what must be done,
For this, the last battle can't be won.

You will be sad, I understand,
Don't let your grief then stay your hand
For this day, more than the rest
Your love and friendship stand the test.

We've had so many happy years
What is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer so
When the time comes, please let me go.

I know in time you will see
It is a kindness you do to me
Although my tail its last was waved
From pain and suffering I've been saved.

Don't grieve it should be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been close, we two these years
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

So, I am glad
Not that he's gone
But that the earth he roamed and lived upon
Was my earth too;
That I had closely known and loved him
And that my love I'd shown.

Do not cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
It is ok to cry, just remember to smile.
So sorry.

Comments : Dear Peter and Waita,
I am so sorry to hear you have lost your Kezzy. Each one is so very special in their own unique way. The paw prints they leave on our hearts stay forever.
I hope that time will dim your pain, and magnify all the wonderful memories I know you have of her.

Sincerest Condolences,

Comments : Hi Waita
I am really sorry to hear about Kezzy. It's like loosing a best friend. They're so much more loving and attuned to us than most people and it's really heartbreaking to see them move on away from our physical selves. I hope you can find some peace in knowing that she's in a better place where there is no pain and old age happening.....she'll be happy and always around you though.
The spring flower show was beautiful, by the way. Your garden is looking good once again!!! I love it when stuff starts coming back to life in the spring.
Take care and stay in touch.

Love Dianne

Comments : Peter and Waita,

I'm so sad to hear of Kezzy's passing. It was a great honor to be able to have met her. The pages you did for her are very special memorial.

She is playing at the bridge with her kids and maybe even my Gypsy. Take care Waita and know you both are in my thoughts and prayers.
